Reasons for setting acid and oil removal in plastic electroplating

The ABS electroplating line of Jinde has also set up an acidic degreasing process after alkaline degreasing.
We know that alkaline degreasing is mostly composed of caustic soda, sodium carbonate, trisodium phosphate, and some auxiliary agents. High temperature combined with high alkalinity can cause the water vapor and air contained in the surface of plastic electroplated products to form small bubbles due to expansion. On the other hand, due to the effect of degreasers, a film of butyrate, alkali salt, and even some surfactants have a strong affinity with resin on the surface of plastic electroplated products. This can affect the uniformity and effectiveness of ABS electroplated products during roughening treatment. At this point, after alkaline degreasing, the plastic electroplated products are further surface treated by soaking in a solution containing sulfuric acid, acid, and surface modifiers. So as to achieve the goal of neutralizing alkaline solution and surface fine tuning. More conducive to the uniform coarsening and wetting of watch products. Improve the adhesion between the product and the coating.
